WaterTribe Ultimate Florida Challenge 2006

This race circumnavigates about 2/3 of Florida in five stages. The first stage starts at Fort Desoto in Tampa Bay, Florida along with the Annual Everglades Challenge. The race distance is roughly 1200 miles including 40 mile highway portage between the St. Marys River and the Suwannee River. The time deadline to complete this challenge is 29 days and 5 hours. I am planning to paddle my Sea Wind canoe with similar rigging as in Everglades Challenge 2004.
